Re Panel issues subpoenas to White House, others" (June 28)

On the road to privatizing of the United States by the Bush/Cheney Co., they have finally encountered a roadblock in the form of congressional subpoenas. Instead of just taking their word for it, those pesky subpoenas demand that President Bush and Vice President Cheney tell the truth under oath.

It appears the president and the vice president just don't want to swear to an oath and in Cheney's case, he just wants to swear. If a Democrat took the same stance, the Republicans would shout out, that's proof the Democrat is hiding something. What are you hiding, President Bush and Vice President Cheney?
